EastEnders was the most-watched soap on Tuesday evening (August 28) as returnee Sharon Rickman made a big decision over her future, overnight figures show.
The Walford drama pulled in 7.31m (36.7%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Sharon vowed to stick around on Albert Square rather than moving on once again. Later, BBC Three's repeat screening secured 626k (4.2%) at 10.30pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City entertained 4.69m (20.8%) at 8pm with an episode titled 'Taxi for Spence'.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 5.84m (31.5%) at 7pm on ITV1 as Laurel failed to be honest with Ashley, adding 149k (0.7%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 790k (4.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Dodger's secret turmoil continued, while E4's first look claimed 464k (2.5%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 681k (10.0%) at 1.45pm and 836k (6.3%) at 5.30pm, while classic episodes of Home and Away on 5* mustered 130k (0.8%) and 161k (0.9%) at 6pm and 6.30pm respectively.
Elsewhere, the latest edition of Doctors - titled 'The Way To A Man's Heart' - was seen by 1.3m (19.3%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
