Wednesday ratings: 'Emmerdale' Moira heartbreak seen by 7.3m

Emmerdale stayed well above the 7m mark on Wednesday evening with a heartbreaking episode for Moira Barton, overnight figures show.



Emmerdale pulled in 7.31m (33.0%) at 7pm and 216k (1.0%) on ITV1+1 as John told Moira that he wanted a divorce.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, attracted 1.11m (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 106k (0.5%) on +1 as Darren continued to plan his secret wedding. E4's first look screening at events in Chester secured 625k (2.8%) at 7pm.

Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 730k (9.5%) at 1.45pm and 1.16m (6.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 876k (4.4%) at 6pm and 517k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Static' - was seen by 1.61m (21.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
