Ratings: Becky's revenge draws 9.4m to 'Coronation Street'

The lead-up to Becky McDonald's exit from Coronation Street continued to draw large numbers for ITV1, scoring 9.37m viewers for its 8.30pm episode, which saw Katherine Kelly's character hack a computer to obtain Tracy's medical records.

The 7.30pm instalment of Corrie amassed 8.9m (39%) as Gail spotted an opportunity for revenge, adding an extra 118k (0.5%) on timeshift.

Earlier on ITV1, Emmerdale took 7.22m (33.8%) as Nicola tried to help Ashley.

Zainab's attempts to reunite Tamwar and Afia nonplussed 8.48m (36.4%) EastEnders viewers at 8pm. An additional 648k (3.1%) watched the 10pm BBC Three repeat instead. Earlier on the licence fee broadcaster, Doctors averaged 1.71m (20.8%) for a comfortable win in its afternoon slot.

Channel 4's Hollyoaks summoned 899k (4.4%) as Darren began making wedding plans, and 421k (2%) switched over to E4 at 7pm for a first look episode.

An afternoon screening of Neighbours on Channel 5 entertained 704k (8.5%), and its figures were boosted to 1.09m (6.3%) for the early evening showing. Home and Away nabbed 883k (4.6%) at 6pm.
