EastEnders topped the soap ratings on Tuesday evening as Ben Mitchell faced questions from the police, overnight figures show.
EastEnders pulled in 8.91m (38.3%) at 7.30pm as DCI Marsden asked Ben for information about Stella's death. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 766k (3.7%) at 10pm.
Also on BBC One, Holby City entertained 5.43m (22.9%) at 8pm as Sahira considered her future at the hospital.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 7.37m (32.9%) at 7pm and 173k (0.7%) on +1 as Rodney found himself in trouble with the police.
Hollyoaks mustered 996k (4.6%) at 6.30pm for the George and Callum storyline, while E4's first look interested 560k (2.5%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours appealed to 698k (9.1%) at 1.45pm and 1.17m (6.8%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away delivered 784k (3.9%) at 6pm and 449k (2.1%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'What Lies Beneath' - was seen by 1.66m (21.7%) at 1.45pm.
