Wednesday ratings: 'Emmerdale' Ashley troubles secure 7.2m

Emmerdale topped the 7m mark on Wednesday evening as Ashley Thomas faced fresh turmoil, overnight figures show.



Emmerdale pulled in 7.18m (31.9%) at 7pm as Ashley was left humiliated on his stag night. A further 209k (0.9%) watched on +1.

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, secured 1.05m (5.1%) at 6.30pm as Mitzeee tried to fool Warren by winning back his trust. The next developments in the storyline then brought 548k (2.4%) to E4's first look at 7pm and 192k (0.8%) to E4+1.

Over on Channel 5, the third instalment of Top 20 Soap Moments entertained 496k (3.0%) at 5.30pm.
