Overnight figures: 'Emmerdale' nabs 6.3m for Aaron's doubts

Aaron's soul searching on Emmerdale kept the rural soap above 6 million viewers on Wednesday night, according to the latest audience data.

Emmerdale averaged 6.25m (32.5%) from 7pm for ITV1, as Aaron continued to wonder whether he did the right thing over Jackson. A further 151k (0.8%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.

Elsewhere, Hollyoaks fetched 1m (5.9%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before E4's first look at the next episode had 363k (2.1%) from 7pm and 109k (0.6%) on +1.

Earlier in the day, Doctors entertained 1.42m (20.4%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 656k (9.3%) on Channel 5. The Aussie drama's repeat screening was watched by 1.2m (9.3%) from 5.30pm.

Home and Away fetched 806k (5.2%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 410k (2.4%) from 6.30pm.
