EastEnders topped Thursday evening's soap ratings (September 18) as Albert Square dealt with the aftermath of the Moon house fire, according to overnight figures.
6.3m (33.5%) watched at 7.30pm on BBC One as Mo came to realise that her hairspray caused the explosion that devastated Kat and Alfie's home. BBC Three's repeat screening attracted 379k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale was watched by 5.4m (31.%) at 7pm on ITV and 141k (0.7%) on +1 as Noah suffered a shock collapse, while 5.2m (25.5%) returned at 8pm and 219k (1.1%) on +1 as Charity discovered that Noah had been poisoned.
Hollyoaks managed 720k (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Tony found himself with a tough decision to make, while E4's first look followed with 724k (4.1%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours brought in 661k (11.0%) at 1.45pm and a further 769k (6.4%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away appealed to 206k (3.2%) at 1.15pm, 518k (3.5%) at 6pm and 322k (2%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors appealed to 1.19m (20.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
