Coronation Street topped Monday evening's soap ratings (December 16) as the Tina and Peter dramas continued, overnight figures show.
9.1m (40.8%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 115k (0.5%) on +1 as Peter angered Tina by snubbing her following his return from the honeymoon. 8.66m (35.7%) returned at 8.30pm and 187k (0.8%) on +1 as Tina tried to move on from Peter by flirting with Rob.
EastEnders appealed to 7.5m (31.8%) at 8pm on BBC One as Joey made David aware of Janine's dark secret. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 514k (3.3%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 7.07m (33.8%) at 7pm on ITV as David was forced to reject Priya again, adding 162k (0.7%) on +1.
Hollyoaks entertained 1.27m (6.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with the aftermath of Sienna's comeuppance, while E4's first look had 860k (4.1%) at 7pm and 187k (0.8%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Imogen facing her fears in Neighbours was seen by 303k (4.3%) at the earlier time of 12.55pm and 985k (6.2%) at 5.30pm.
