EastEnders continued to rise in the ratings on Tuesday evening (November 12), overnight figures show.
7.79m (35.3%) tuned in at 7.30pm on BBC One as Max Branning heard his fate in court and prepared to get revenge.
The figure was EastEnders' highest since April and a further 458k (3.2%) caught BBC Three's repeat screening at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 6.8m (32.4%) at 7pm on ITV and 228k (1.0%) on +1 as Kerry learned of Amy's plans to snatch Kyle.
Holby City interested 5.12m (22.3%) at 8pm on BBC One with Chantelle's final episode.
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.19m (5.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Freddie helped Lindsey in her time of need, while E4's first look had 731k (3.5%) at 7pm and 179k (0.8%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 712k (10.9%) at 1.45pm and 947k (5.9%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 301k (4.5%) at 1.15pm, 678k (3.7%) at 6pm and 542k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.41m (21.6%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
