Emmerdale had another ratings victory on Tuesday evening (July 30) with the continued fallout from Gennie's death, overnight figures show.
6.17m (35.1%) tuned in at 7pm on ITV and 206k (1.1%) on +1 as Nikhil's erratic behaviour upset Brenda.
EastEnders brought in 6.06m (32.5%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Whitney told Tyler about her one-night stand with Joey. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 445k (2.9%) at 10.30pm.
Holby City interested 4.75m (23.4%) at 8pm with Mo-centric episode 'Never Let Me Go'.
Hollyoaks attracted 1.01m (6.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Phoebe tried to con a patient at the hospital, while E4's first look had 614k (3.5%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 540k (7.5%) at 1.45pm and 847k (6.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 212k (2.7%) at 1.15pm, 582k (3.9%) at 6pm and 430k (2.6%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.3m (17.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
