'Coronation Street' down to 6.08m on Wednesday night...

Coronation Street had a dip in the ratings due to its early start before the Europa League coverage.

Tommy's confrontation with Gary after learning he made a pass at Tina was seen by 6.08 million viewers (21.7%) at 6.45pm on ITV. A further 497,000 (2.5%) tuned in on +1.

Hollyoaks attracted 993k (5.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4, as Will found evidence he could use to frame Leanne for murder. Meanwhile, 117k (0.6%) watched on +1, while E4's first look secured 613k (3.4%) at 7pm (156k/0.7% on +1).

On Channel 5, Home and Away brought in 264k (3.8%) at 1.15pm, followed by Neighbours with 728k (10.6%) at 1.45pm. The evening edition of Neighbours was seen by 920k (6.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away attracted 744k (4.6%) at 6pm.

BBC One's Doctors entertained 1.50m (22.2%) at 1.45pm.
