7.64m (38.3%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 213k (0.9%) on +1 as Carla and Leanne made a deal over the bookies, while 7.46m (32.4%) returned at 8.30pm and 346k (1.6%) on +1 with the fallout for Carla and Peter.
EastEnders appealed to 6.92m (32.6%) at 8pm on BBC One as Liam's gang storyline came to a head, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 472k (3.0%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale's big Sharma family twist was witnessed by 6.21m (33.6%) at 7pm on ITV, adding 171k (0.8%) on +1.
Hollyoaks interested 818k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Will's latest manipulations, while E4's first look had 565k (3.0%) at 7pm.
On Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 769k (11.3%) at 1.45pm and 858k (6.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 263k (3.9%) at 1.15pm, 612k (3.9%) at 6pm and 448k (2.6%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.38m (20.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
