Coronation Street put in another strong performance on Wednesday evening (March 20) as the Rovers Return fire drama continued, overnight figures show.
9.26m (40.4%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 361k (1.6%) on +1 as a final explosion at the pub killed firefighter Toni.
Earlier, Emmerdale pulled in 6.81m (32.5%) at 7pm on ITV and 268k (1.3%) on +1 as Cameron's games left Charity panicking.
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.11m (5.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Cheryl shot Seamus, while the dramatic aftermath on E4's first look was seen by 859k (4.1%) at 7pm and 248k (1.2%) on +1.
On Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 706k (8.8%) at 1.45pm and 1.01m (6.3%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away entertained 691k (3.7%) at 6pm and 469k (2.4%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.57m (19.6%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
