Coronation Street remained close to the 8m mark as its 'Big Week' continued on Wednesday evening (May 9), overnight figures show.
Coronation Street pulled in 7.97m (30.4%) at 9pm and 394k (1.9%) on +1 as Tina was left injured following a dramatic showdown with Terry.
Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 6.69m (33.1%) at 7pm and 111k (0.5%) on timeshift as Zak's mental state deteriorated further on the moors.
Hollyoaks interested 813k (4.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Doug revealed the depth of his feelings for Ste, while 483k (2.4%) watched E4's first look at 7pm to see the aftermath of his confession.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours grabbed 667k (9.4%) at 1.45pm and 903k (5.8%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away had 692k (3.9%) at 6pm and 518k (2.7%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'High Flyer' - was watched by 1.4m (19.8%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
