Emmerdale stayed above the 7m mark on Wednesday evening for Pauline Quirke's final episode as Hazel Rhodes, overnight figures show.
Emmerdale pulled in 7.38m (34.3%) at 7pm as Hazel made an emotional departure from the village, while 128k (0.6%) caught the episode on ITV1+1.
Hollyoaks, meanwhile, attracted 1.06m (5.1%) at 6.30pm as Lynsey made another enemy, before E4's first look secured 464k (2.2%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours took 772k (10.0%) at 1.45pm and 1.12m (6.7%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away interested 862k (4.5%) at 6pm and 467k (2.3%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'Another Day, Another Dollar' - was seen by 1.6m (20.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
