EastEnders stayed above 8m viewers on Tuesday evening, the latest audience data has revealed.
The BBC One soap was seen by 8.28m (37.5%) from 7.30pm, as Amira went against Yusef's wishes by coming back to the Square. The repeat screening fetched 929k (5%) on BBC Three from 10pm.
Also on BBC One,
Holby City grabbed 5.58m (24.4%) in the 8pm hour for the episode 'PS Elliott', featuring Hanssen's attempt to contain the plastics scandal.
Emmerdale was seen by 6.7m (32.5%) on ITV1 from 7.30pm and 175k (0.8%) on +1, as Marlon and Laurel met in secret to decide what to do next.
Elsewhere,
Hollyoaks appealed to 1.17m (6.1%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before E4's first look at the next episode mustered 500k (2.4%) from 7pm and 125k (0.6%) on +1.
Earlier in the day,
Doctors entertained 1.69m (25%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while
Neighbours had 616k (9.1%) on Channel 5. The Aussie drama's repeat screening was watched by 1.13m (7.5%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away managed 836k (4.8%) on Channel 5 from 6.30pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode pulled in 395k (2%).
