Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Friday, with viewers tuning in to see the showdown between Carla and Frank.
In the first episode of a double bill, 7.8m (36.6%) watched the aftermath of Carla's revelations, and a further 177k (0.8%) caught up on ITV1+1. Figures dipped slightly to 6.98m (28.7%) as soap fans saw Tracy's big news. Another 237k (1.1%) watched on timeshift.
Over on BBC One, 6.99m (31.2%) saw Vanessa make a move on Eddie on EastEnders, and a further 631k (2.9%) watched the 10pm repeat on BBC Three.
Earlier on, Doctors scored 1.49m (22.2%) for an episode titled 'Pulp Friction'.
A tense chat between Laurel and Marlon brought 6.36m (32.8%) to ITV1 for Emmerdale, with 119k (0.5%) watching an hour later.
Brendan's rage conjured 1.2m (6.7%) for Hollyoaks on Channel 4 at 6.30pm (+1: 111k, 0.5%). E4's first look grabbed 488k (2.5%).
On Channel 5, Neighbours brought in 628k (9.3%) at 1.45pm, increasing its audience to 1.11m (7.8%) for the 5.30pm repeat. Home and Away nabbed 837k (5.1%) half an hour later, with 374k (2.1%) catching 5*s first look.
