Tuesday ratings: Tanya's shock grabs 7.3m on 'EastEnders'

Cora's surprise confrontation with Tanya helped EastEnders attract more than 7.3 million viewers on Tuesday evening, the latest audience data has revealed.

EastEnders was seen by 7.35m (37.5%) from 7.30pm, as Cora shocked Tanya after confronting her over the state of her troubled marriage. The repeat screening fetched 1.06m (5.3%) on BBC Three from 10pm.

Also on BBC One, Holby City grabbed 5.18m (24.9%) in the 8pm hour for the episode 'Old Habits', featuring Sahira's suspicions over Greg's behaviour when one of his old friends turned up on the ward.

Emmerdale was watched by 5.83m (31.7%) on ITV1 from 7pm and 185k (1.9%) on +1, as Amy quickly realised that Jared had the upper hand when he threatened to expose her past.

Elsewhere, Hollyoaks appealed to 1.11m (6.3%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before E4's first look at the next episode mustered 434k (2.4%) from 7pm.

Earlier in the day, Doctors entertained 1.44m (19.6%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 654k (9.0%) on Channel 5. The Aussie drama's repeat screening was watched by 1.07m (8.2%) from 5.30pm.
