More tension between Ella and Declan on Emmerdale kept the rural soap above 6 million viewers on Wednesday night, according to the latest audience data.
Emmerdale averaged 6.37m (33.4%) from 7pm for ITV1, as Ella was determined not to let Declan move on, despite him having other ideas. A further 156k (0.8%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.
Elsewhere, Hollyoaks fetched 1.08m (6%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm and 143k (0.7%) on +1, before E4's first look at the next episode had 533k (2.8%) from 7pm and 163k (0.8%) on +1.
Earlier in the day, Doctors entertained 1.49m (21%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours had 855k (12%) on Channel 5. The Aussie drama's repeat screening was watched by 1.18m (8.4%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away fetched 832k (5%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 448k (2.5%) from 6.30pm.
