Coronation Street's dramatic week continued with 9m (34.5%) on ITV1 from 9pm and 493k (2.3%) on ITV1+1, as Fiz was forced to answer some difficult questions from the authorities after John went into hiding.
Rural drama Emmerdale averaged 6.46m (36.5%) from 7pm, as Paddy struggled to deal with the arrival of Rhona and Marlon's baby. A further 122k (0.5%) watched the episode on ITV1+1.
On BBC One, Waterloo Road was seen by 3.34m (15.5%) between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, down a massive 1.71m week-on-week, as Karen was warned off Rob by his estranged wife.
Elsewhere, Hollyoaks fetched 810k (4.8%) on Channel 4 from 6.30pm, before E4's first look at the next episode had 317k (1.8%) from 7pm.
Earlier in the day, Doctors grabbed 1.42m (21.2%) on BBC One from 1.45pm, while Neighbours entertained 558k (8.4%) on Channel 5. The repeat screening was watched by 1.14m (9.1%) from 5.30pm.
Home and Away fetched 860k (5.5%) from 6pm, before 5*'s first look at the next episode entertained 459k (2.7%) from 6.30pm.
