A new expert will also be joining the team
The Repair Shop will return to our screens for six brand new episodes, the BBC has confirmed.
Jay Blades and his team of expert crafters will be back in the barn to rescue and restore the public's beloved items when the show returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on April 10.
The new series of the BAFTA-award winning programme will see the team bring a fire station painting back to its former glory, as well as restoring a Roald Dahl gate, a World War II code breaking cookbook and a pair of cowboy boots connected to Elton John.
The episodes will also feature one of the biggest fixes in the show's history, as the experts attempt to save an armchair that tells a poignant story from the 1980's AIDS crisis.
If that's not enough to get you excited, The Repair Shop will also be welcoming a new expert to the barn.
Skilled textiles conservator Rebecca Bissonnet, who has worked on restoring priceless items including Queen Elizabeth II's coronation dress, will join the team to repair precious clothing.
Rebecca will show off her skills in episode two, after an Irish dancing dress in need of some intricate repair work is brought to the barn.
"If you're super excited about The Repair Shop coming back, you're not the only one. We work really hard to make sure people's dreams come true, so to be able to show you guys what we've done is so exciting," said presenter Jay on the show's anticipated return.
"The show goes from strength to strength, and I think that is simply because we're talking about community, it's all about working together as a team and achieving a common goal for someone."
On the show's new addition, Jay added: "It was great to welcome Rebecca to the barn, she just fitted like a glove and it's always so special to be able to learn different skills from different people. We can't wait to share these new episodes."
The Repair Shop returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on April 10 at 8pm.
