Dancing on Ice 2021 has crowned its winner!

The ITV skating show aired its final on Sunday night (March 14), with this year's series having been shortened due to a plethora of celebrity injuries and positive coronavirus tests.

Skating in the final were Sonny Jay, Faye Brookes and Colin Jackson — with Jackson being sent home in third place following the celebrities' first two skates.

So, who took home the trophy?

After both skating routines inspired by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's classic Bolero skate, it was Sonny Jay and Angela Egan who walked away the winners.

"That is mental!" said Sonny. "Thank you so much."

Speaking after finishing in second place, Faye added: "All I wanted to do was get here. I did it as a personal challenge. I made it here, and it couldn't have gone to a better guy!"

It's been an emotional competition for Sonny Jay, who skated a tribute routine to his late friend Joe Lyons in last weekend's semi-final.

The radio presenter was also chosen by Faye's replacement skating partner Matt Evers as this year's winner ahead of the finale — and it appears Matt chose wisely.
