Melody Thornton has become the eighth celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice 2019
Following surviving a three-way skate-off last weekend and another skate-off against Saara Aalto and her partner Hamish Gaman, the former Pussycat Doll and her skating partner Alexander Demetriou were voted out of the competition.
She follows Jane Danson, Ryan Sidebottom, Gemma Collins, Saira Khan, Didi Conn, Richard Blackwood and Mark Little from the competition.
Sunday night's episode saw Melody admit to struggling with her confidence as the series progressed.
"My confidence keeps getting kicked every week," she said. "I’m like, ‘come on, girl? Who are you?'"
Despite that, Melody completed the first neck spin of the series and scored an impressive 35.5 out of 40 from the ice panel, leaving her at the middle of the leaderboard.
Nonetheless, it wasn't enough to save her in a skate-off against Saara — who some viewers complained had been "under marked" on social media.
Next week's episode will see the remaining celebrities Saara, Wes Nelson, James Jordan, and Brian McFadden compete for a spot in the final.
Dancing on Ice continues next Sunday (March 3) on ITV.
