Karen and Kevin Clifton appeared to keep their distance when they attended a friend's wedding on Thursday amid persistent rumours of marriage troubles.

Dancer Gorka Marquez shared a group snap from the day as Strictly Come Dancing choreographer Jason Gilkison and his partner James Carney wed - and the pro dancers are noticeably standing apart.

It comes as Karen spent Christmas in New York while Kevin stayed back in the UK with is family.

The couple, who married in July 2015, have been plagued with rumours of a break up.

Karen reportedly embarked on a fling with a 27-year-old US accountant named Stuart Wood.

However, their reported romance ended as “heartbroken” Stuart flew back to America amid claims Karen wanted to patch up her marriage.

Karen also reportedly warned Jamie Redknapp to "keep his wife away from" Kevin.

Alongside the wedding snap, Gorka wrote: "What an INCREDIBLE day!! Thank you to @jamespcarney & @jasongilkison for share with all of us such a special day in your life’s. It was a magical day full of love, laughs and fun lots of fun MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to you both. "

One of his followers simply wrote "Karen and Kevin" alongwith a crying emoji.

Though two Strictly stars definitely not keeping their distance were Molling King and partner AJ Pritchard, who can be spotted in the bottom left corner of the group snap.

Louise Redknapp was also in attendance at the bash and was filmed singing on stage.

The performance was captured on Instagram Stories by professional dancer Giovanni Pernice - who was Debbie McGee 's partner this year.

Frankie and Wayne Bridge were also there and supported the former Eternal singer's set.

Louise was seen leaving the bash in the early hours hand-in-hand with the WAG.

Jamie and Louise - who tied the knot in 1998 - were granted a decree nisi at the Central Family Court in London, in a hearing that lasted less than half a minute.

They were granted a divorce on Friday, but are still technically married.

It's said that the pair are expected to reach amicable terms on custody of their two sons, Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.

And a decree absolute ending the marriage can be issued after six weeks, should no objections be formally made.
