The BBC have confirmed the panel for Question Time this evening.

The show, hosted by David Dimbleby, will be filmed at Coventry University.

Labour Party politician Emily Thornberry, who has been the Member of Parliament for Islington South and Finsbury since the 2005 general election, is set to appear.

Alongside her will be comedian Rob Delaney, widely known as the co-star and co-writer of the TV show Catastrophe.

Mr Delaney, an American writer and actor, endorsed Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn in the 2017 UK General Election.

Elsewhere on the panel, Conservative Party politician and author Tobias Ellwood will represent the Tories.

Mr Ellwood currently serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bournemouth East and as UK Government Minister at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Laura Perrins, co-editor of The Conservative Woman, will also feature on the panel, as well as Liberal Democrat Norman Lamb, who has been the Member of Parliament for North Norfolk since 2001.

Mr served most recently as Minister of State for Care and Support in the Department of Health, and previously as Minister of State for Employment Relations in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, and earlier as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg in the Conservative-Liberal Democrat Coalition Government.

*The show will air from 10.45pm on BBC One.
