Simon Cowell hated it, but other judges were more positive
Controversial Coventry X-Factor star Bradley Hunt kicked off his X-Factor adventure with a performance that Simon Cowell described as “a musical horror movie”.
Bradley and Ottavio Columbro, performing under the name Bratavio, took to the stage to sing a mash-up of Vengaboys’ ‘Boom Boom (I Want You In My Room)’ and Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’.
Dressed in neon and performing alongside a bizarre array of dancers the pair certainly managed to create a spectacle.
Once they finished Sharon Osborne said: “Guys I don’t understand your name, but I have to tell you, if Louis and I had children it would be you,”
“I don’t know if it was panto and if you were the ugly sisters. I think you’re brave and creative, and boo hoo what people think because I like you.”
Talking to Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell asked: “What were you thinking?”
He then said the performance was “like a musical horror movie”.
Louis hit back saying: “I took a chance putting you through to the live shows , but at least its fun.”

"This was like a guinea pig vs a race horse" - time runs out for Bratavio on X Factor
Bratavio have left the X-Factor - and it's fair to say the response has been less than sympathetic.
In an X-Factor contest even more ridiculous than in previous years the band, made up of FarGo Village employee Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro, looked set for a decent run in the contest.
But after a bizarre first performance and a flat sing-off against the ever-so-slightly more impressive vocals of Saara Aalto, the dream was over.
There was some love for the dynamic duo online - especially with the even more ridiculous Honey G sailing through to next week's show.
But the majority of messages on social media sent after the band's X-Factor dream prematurely came to an end were a little on the critical side.
