McCall to host 'Big Brother' awards show

Davina McCall has been confirmed to host the first ever Big Brother's Big Awards.

McCall, who has presented the main show for the full 11 series, will reward "the housemates deemed memorable for all the right and wrong reasons". The programme is designed as a celebration of the reality show, which will air on Channel 4 for the final time this summer.

Gongs will be handed out for 'Best Housemate', 'Best Bitch' and 'Best Couple', before culminating in the 'Best Series' title.

Former Big Brother's Little Brother presenter Dermot O'Leary will also appear at the event, which screens on Saturday, May 22 at 10.15pm on E4.

A documentary special, Big Brother Exposed: The Inside Story, will further be shown on E4 next month. The show will include interviews with McCall, O'Leary, producers and ex-housemates.

The final series of Big Brother will start in June.
