5.3m watch Stephanie's 'Rainbow' exit

Stephanie Davis's exit from Over The Rainbow was seen by 5.32m (24.3%) last night, according to early figures.

The reality series, which aired between 7.15pm and 8pm last night, was down around 500k week-on-week.

Antiques Roadshow followed on BBC One with 4.34m (17.9%) in the 8pm hour, then new art series Modern Masters launched to a disappointing 1.54m (6.4%).

On ITV1, a new series of Lewis opened with an impressive 7.36m (30.9%) between 8.30pm and 10.30pm.

BBC Two's live snooker coverage averaged 1.94m (9.2%) over three hours during primetime.

Channel 4's examination of the party manifestos in Election Uncovered: What They Won't Tell Us averaged 753k (3.2%) between 7.30pm and 9pm. The Restoration Man then took 1.81m (7.5%), and at 10pm, fast turnaround documentary The Volcano That Stopped Britain interested 1.49m (7.8%).

Screenings of Hellboy and Dog Soldiers brought in audiences of 1.61m (6.7%) and 816k (6.2%) to Five from 8pm.

ITV1 averaged 24.8% during primetime overall, a full nine points ahead of BBC One. BBC Two was third with 9.5%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.4% (+1: 0.4%) and Five with 5.7%.

A repeat of Britain's Got Talent averaged 977k (4.5%) for ITV2 at 7pm, with a further 301k (1.2%) on timeshift. The channel's spinoff show followed with 715k (2.9%) and 149k (0.6%).

On Sky1, new episodes of 24 and House put in 554k (2.3%) and 320k (1.6%) from 9pm.
