It all kicked off on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side on Tuesday night (September 22), as the show was taken off air by Channel 5 after a heated incident on set caused panelist Vicki Michelle to go to hospital with injuries.
Following the double eviction of Jenna Jameson and Janice Dickinson, Bit On The Side guests Farrah Abraham and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace went at it after presenter Rylan Clark asked Aisleyne whether she missed watching Farrah in the house.
Aisleyne gave a definitive no to Rylan and told US star Farrah: "You've got your cheque, get on the plane and f**k off. No-one likes you here."
Farrah fired back with the suggestion that Aisleyne wasn't "qualified" to comment as she wasn't asked to join the celebrity version of Big Brother.
Both Jenna and Janice later joined the Bit On The Side panel, but that didn't distract Farrah from calling Aisleyne a "hag" and telling her to "be quiet".
Then, the show, which was on a time delay, cut from the studio row to footage of the Big Brother eye.
Bit On The Side eventually returned, with Rylan explaining that the celebrity panel had been removed due to an "incident".
The programme continued with only the audience, before being taken off air 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. It was replaced with a brief live feed from the house.
Big Brother 7 contestant Aisleyne later tweeted from home to say that she would "set the record straight" after a night's sleep.
Panellist and Allo Allo actress Vicki Michelle was taken to hospital after being caught in the crossfire while the show was off air.
Michelle was allegedly hit with flying glass after her fellow panellists threw champagne at one another. She has since tweeted to say she was "bloody hurt" but has been discharged from hospital.
Channel 5 said in a statement: "Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side was interrupted this evening due to an incident on the set."
Hertfordshire Constabulary has opened an investigation, saying: "We received a report at 10.55pm on the evening of Tuesday, September 22 regarding an incident which is alleged to have occurred in the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. The incident occurred a short time before the call.
"Officers are currently making inquiries to establish the exact circumstances of what happened and will release further details when appropriate."
