Carol Kirkwood is the latest star name to join Strictly Come Dancing.
The weather presenter will be hoping for a bright outlook when she takes to the ballroom for the upcoming series of the BBC dance contest.
Six celebrities have now been confirmed for the new series of Strictly - Jeremy Vine, Ainsley Harriott, Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham and Kirkwood - with further names to be announced in due course.
"I am beyond excited to be taking part in the best programme on British telly and have been a huge fan since it started," Kirkwood explained.
"I can't wait to learn to dance and hope my experience on Strictly will be a breeze. Whether it will be or not is one forecast I cannot predict!"
The 53-year-old's involvement was confirmed on this morning's (August 18) BBC Breakfast, where she is the regular host of the weather.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return to host the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, which is expected to kick off on BBC One next month.
