Bronte Barbe has become the second hopeful to be voted off Over The Rainbow.
The 18-year-old found herself in the bottom two alongside Lauren Samuels and learnt that she had received the fewest public votes.
Both contestants then had to perform a rendition of 'What I Did For Love' from A Chorus Line to convince Andrew Lloyd Webber to keep them in the competition.
After their performances, Webber said that both of the women were in his top five and added: "I am truly gutted with this. You are two fantastically talented girls. Both of you will go a long, long way in your careers."
He continued: "This is the first time in all the shows I've done that genuinely I can say I don't know. But I've got to make the choice and I just feel experience might count and I'm going to save Lauren. And I'm sorry, Bronte."
Webber added that Barbe is "fantastically talented" and told her: "You must keep in touch. You must keep in touch with all the panel - I know they all agree with me - and you're a fantastic kid."
After hearing the decision, a tearful Barbe said: "It has been the most amazing experience of my life. All those girls are so amazing, they deserve it so much."
Over The Rainbow continues next Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
