Zoe Ball will once again fill in for an absent Claudia Winkleman on this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing, it has been confirmed.
The It Takes Two host joined Tess Daly to co-host the competition last weekend (Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2) when Winkleman's daughter was taken to hospital following a Halloween-related accident.
Ball's debut was well-received, with viewers praising the presenter and calling for her to be given a more permanent role.
The BBC has now confirmed that Winkleman will remain absent from this weekend's episodes, which air Saturday (November 8) at 6.30pm and Sunday (November 9) at 7.45pm.
"Zoe Ball will co-host Strictly Come Dancing this weekend. All our thoughts and very best wishes are with Claudia and her family at this time," a spokesperson said.
The Winkleman family issued a statement earlier today in which they thanked the "NHS doctors, nurses and staff" for looking after 8-year-old Matilda.
"She is having the best care possible and we are hopeful of a full recovery," they added.
