Emilie Fleming has become the eleventh contestant on Over The Rainbow.
Judges Andrew Lloyd Webber, Charlotte Church, John Partridge and Sheila Hancock picked ten hopefuls last week but the public were given the opportunity to choose another woman to join the competition as a "wild card".
On tonight's show, Webber was shown announcing that Fleming had topped the public vote and will now battle it out for the role of Dorothy in Webber's production of The Wizard Of Oz.
After hearing the news, Fleming sobbed: "I'm so happy. When you've lost something you know how much it means to you and I'm going to go for it. Those other Dorothys aren't going to know what's hit them."
Speaking to host Graham Norton during tonight's programme, she added: "I didn't expect it. It's an absolutely fantastic group of girls and I'm over the moon I've been given the second chance. I hope I prove the public right, that they made the right decision."
Meanwhile, Webber described Fleming's selection as a "very good choice".
One of the final 11 hopefuls will be voted off the competition during tomorrow's show at 6.20pm on BBC One.
