8.27m (38.9%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 152k (0.7%) on +1 as Hayley paid a visit to the salon for the final time, while 8.06m (34.6%) returned at 8.30pm and 164k (0.7%) on +1 as Hayley started to say her goodbyes and told Roy that she would end her life the following day.
EastEnders attracted 7.41m (33.1%) at 8pm on BBC One as Jake and Lauren's affair was uncovered by Bella. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 485k (3.0%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.81m (33.8%) at 7pm on ITV with the aftermath of Rachel's exit, adding 174k (0.8%) on +1.
Hollyoaks pulled in 926k (4.6%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 110k (0.5%) on +1 as Freddie's nightmare continued following his failure to save Joe, while E4's first look followed with 749k (3.7%) at 7pm and 139k (0.6%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, another dramatic twist in Neighbours' Gem storyline was seen by 670k (8.7%) at 1.45pm and 845k (5.2%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away managed 184k (2.4%) at 1.15pm, 620k (3.4%) at 6pm and 369k (1.8%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors entertained 1.59m (20.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
