The latest act to be eliminated from The X Factor has been revealed.
Tamera Foster (above, left) exited the show following a sing-off with Luke Friend. The result means that Nicole Scherzinger becomes the first judge to lose all of their acts this year.
Tamera took on 'The Voice Within' by Christina Aguilera in the sing-off, while Luke performed a rendition of Snow Patrol's 'Run'.
The judges failed to reach a unanimous decision, therefore sending this week's result to Deadlock. It was then revealed that Tamera had polled the fewest public votes this week.
Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne had opted to send home Tamera, commenting that Luke had given a superior performance in the sing-off.
Scherzinger stood by her act and chose to send home Luke, while Gary Barlow decided to give the power back to the public by sending the result to Deadlock.
Following her exit, Foster told host Dermot O'Leary: "I just want to say thank you so much for this opportunity. I've had the most amazing time, I couldn't have asked for anything more."
Scherzinger added: "She is going to be the most successful star to come out of this show."
The 16-year-old was installed as the early favourite with bookmakers but appeared to lose support once the live shows began in October.
She was criticised by the judges in recent weeks for forgetting her lyrics two weeks running, with Barlow describing her performance of 'Impossible' as "excruciating".
However, she was praised for her renditions of 'We Found Love' and 'First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' on last night's (November 30) live show.
The latest live results show of the year saw live performances from Rebecca Ferguson and James Arthur, who gave an on-air apology for his recent behaviour.
Meanwhile, the finalists came together for a performance of Ellie Goulding's 'Burn' at the start of the programme
Luke Friend, Sam Bailey, Rough Copy and Nicholas McDonald will now compete in next week's semi-final.
The X Factor continues next Saturday (December 7) at 8pm on ITV. Michael Bublé and Leona Lewis will perform on next Sunday's (December 8) results show.
