Tim Stillwell has become the second Apprentice candidate to get fired this series by Lord Alan Sugar.
The 23-year-old Mexican food entrepreneur paid the price for his role as project manager in a botched beer task.
Stillwell joined the girls in team Evolve, but the Birmingham native was unable to turn around the losing team from episode one, falling to a crushing defeat in the boardroom.
Evolve only raised £399.02, while Kurt Wilson's team Endeavour managed to collect £831.56 profit from selling their flavoured beer.
After two defeats in a row for the girls, Sugar expressed concern about the female candidates, commenting: "I've never seen such a bloody mess in the first two weeks of this process as what I've seen today.
"If ever in my life I've come across a team who literally couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery, it's now. I'm sitting here thinking to myself, you're all a bloody waste of space at the moment.
"I mean, the basic fundamentals - counting, calculations, locations, where you going to sell. These are elementary things."
However, it was ultimately Tim rather than the girls who faced down Lord Sugar's dreaded firing finger.
"Tim, your business plan was something to do with drinks, so I give you the job of being the Project Manager, and you make a mess. Now, you're young, people can make mistakes," said Sugar.
"But you didn't apply any thought to this task and I've got nowhere else to go here. Tim, you're fired."
Speaking afterwards about his firing, Stillwell said: "The team was all partly responsible for the failure of this task, but I did mess up big time and had to be accountable for that.
"I do think you haven't seen the last of me. This new drinks business will be launching."
The Apprentice continues on Wednesday nights at 9pm on BBC One.
