Dancing on Ice coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have reportedly banned the contestants from attempting risky moves on this week's show.

Competitors were apparently trying new lifts and jumps to avoid the upcoming double eviction, but were warned against experimenting after Jennifer Ellison fell and sliced her leg on a skate at rehearsals last night (February 17).

The new injury comes after Ellison accidentally cut her head open during her routine on last week's live show.

"She had to stop rehearsals immediately and rush off for stitches because the bleeding was quite heavy," a source told The Mirror.

"Her confidence was already fragile and now she is going to be in pain on Sunday's show."

Digital Spy favourite Jorgie Porter has been told to drop her head-banger move, while Sugababe Heidi Range has simplified a planned side lift.

Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has also re-worked his wrist-ripper routine following a groin strain.

Ellison recently admitted that she's been struggling in rehearsals since last week's initial injury.
