Nancy Dell'Olio has reportedly criticised fellow Strictly Come Dancing contestant Edwina Currie for not being more glamorous.
The Italian lawyer and former Conservative MP are among the famous faces who will compete in the new series of the BBC competition, which launches this weekend.
According to The Mirror, the incident is said to have taken place earlier this year, with bosses now fearing the duo could clash again.
Dell'Olio allegedly told staff at the filming: "I don't want to be next to her. She's not glamorous enough."
A source told the paper: "First Nancy didn't know who Edwina was and when she saw what she looked like, she didn't want to be associated with her."
However, responding to the comments, Currie, 64, said: "I'm 15 years older and twice her size. Most women would think, 'Don't mess with that one'."
It was previously claimed that the pair had fallen out, with Currie being unhappy with Dell'Olio's numerous demands.
Strictly Come Dancing begins Friday at 9pm on BBC One.
