Coventry performer Bradley Hunt has been receiving vile death threats from online trolls following his X Factor group Bratavio’s success after they made it through to the live shows.

The 23-year-old and his singing partner Ottavio have been plagued with threats and homophobic abuse after mentor Louis Walsh decided that the pair should form part of his final three acts.

Previously the duo had been dubbed this year’s novelty act, alongside over-25s rapper Honey G.

However following last Saturday night’s show the comments from X Factor viewers have been take one step further with twitter users calling for the pair to kill themselves.

A spokesperson from X Factor told Mirror Online : “The welfare of our contestants is of the utmost importance to us. We have a social media team who work closely with our contestants and can help report any form of abuse.”

Louis Walsh picked his X Factor hopefuls, which include Brooks Way and 5 After Midnight, during Judges’ Houses in Ibiza with the help of former contestant Fleur East and former Mis-Teeq singer Alesha Dixon .

Alesha slammed the Irish music manager's decision on social media saying that she was “gutted” and “rooting for the 2 girl groups”.
