Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed its first celebrity for the new series - Jeremy Vine.
The BBC broadcaster was unveiled on Chris Evans's Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Monday (August 10), and admitted he's looking forward to thoroughly embarrassing his two daughters.
The 50-year-old - also known for overseeing the infamous swingometer during the BBC's election coverage - said: "How could I say no to the biggest show in TV? Yes, yes, yes and yes again to the sequins and the Samba!
"Now I just need to find some dancing shoes and identify my left foot. I am doing it for my two young daughters who jumped behind the sofa when I told them. It seems Dad on Strictly is more scary than Doctor Who!"
Shane Richie, Adrian Chiles, Kirsty Gallacher and Jamelia are among the long list of stars rumoured to be hitting the dancefloor this year.
The professional dancers are already back in training ahead of the new series, and showed off a group shot of themselves in rehearsals last week.
New pros Otlile Mabuse, Giovanni Pernice and Dancing with the Stars alum Gleb Savchenko will join returning favourites such as Anton du Beke, Brendan Cole and Kristina Rihanoff.
Ola Jordan is also back for the new run, despite injuring her knee while preparing for Channel 4's The Jump last year and fearing she might never walk again.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year.
