Jay Makin won't be returning to Gogglebox, Channel 4 has confirmed.
'Silent' Jay has left the show after splitting with girlfriend Eve Woerdenweber.
A Channel 4 spokesperson told the Mirror Online: "It's with great regret that Silent Jay is no longer in this series of Gogglebox.
"He has been an excellent contributor to Gogglebox, and we are very grateful for all he has given to the show."
Speaking to The Sun last week, Jay said: "I'm gutted that Eve broke up with me. It came completely out of the blue.
"We had a few problems and started drifting apart but I thought it was down to the pressure of the show and her business.
"Eve said she still wants to be friends but hasn't spoken to me and has deleted me on Facebook. It really hurts, we were so close."
He was originally contracted to complete this series and take part in the next, but the Woerdenwebers will continue to appear without him.
Gogglebox airs every Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
