The famous hairdresser lost out after facing 5ive's Ritchie Neville in a live ski jump to remain in the Channel 4 competition.

Both Neville and Clarke jumped the K15 - the smallest of the three jumps - with the former recording the longer jump at 11 metres.

The six male celebrities took to the slopes for the giant slalom, with Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave recording the fastest time at 39.30 seconds.

Comedian Marcus Brigstocke and cricketer Darren Gough followed in second (44.75s) and third (47.74s) respectively.

Fashion journalist Henry Conway narrowly avoided facing the live ski jump, finishing in fourth place with a time of 47.77 seconds.

Clarke completed the giant slalom in 53.21 seconds, while Neville finished bottom with a time of 54.79 seconds.

Following his exit, Clarke said: "It's been a great experience it really has. It's just one of those things, I did the best I could. It's been great fun."

The Jump continues tomorrow night (January 27) - as the female celebrities take on the Skeleton - at 8pm on Channel 4.
