Keith Chegwin became the seventh contestant to leave Dancing on Ice tonight (February 17).
The 56-year-old entertainer and TV presenter was landed in the bottom two on the show after receiving the lowest number of votes from the public alongside Coronation Street actress Samia Ghadie.
After both celebrities performed their 'Save Me Skate' routines, judges Karen Barber, Robin Cousins and Ashley Roberts chose to save Ghadie and send Chegwin home. Only judge Jason Gardiner decided to vote to save Chegwin.
On his exit, Chegwin told presenter Phillip Schofield that he "waited a whole year to be in the show", after suffering a rib injury that forced him to pull out of starring in the previous series.
On his Dancing on Ice experience, he added: "I've loved every minute of it."
Chegwin also praised his professional partner Olga Sharutenko, saying: "Olga has been such a treat, when I go wrong she goes wrong and it makes me look good."
He additionally described being on the show as a "fascinating experience", and added: "I can say for a few months, I was an athlete."
Schofield also revealed that it will be 'Props Week' on next week's show, which will air on Sunday (February 24) on ITV.
