Rylan Clark has won Celebrity Big Brother.
The former X Factor star burst into tears as it was announced that he had beaten runners-up Heidi & Spencer to win the Channel 5 show.
Earlier in the evening, Neighbours star Ryan Moloney finished in third place, Steps singer Claire Richards came fourth, and former footballer Neil 'Razor' Ruddock ended the series in fifth place.
Wiping away tears, Rylan responded to Brian Dowling's congratulations by saying: "Coming from you, this is a dream come true."
He continued: "For the past year, all people have been doing is picking up a phone for me, and I really appreciate it with all my heart."
The singer went on to insist that he didn't know why he had won, saying he had been "hated... three months ago".
Describing himself as the "biggest fan of Big Brother", Rylan thanked the other housemates for their support, marvelling at the fact that he had spent three weeks with "people... [he] grew up... watching".
He then discussed controversial couple Heidi & Spencer, saying he did not know whether they were genuine or fake in the house, but concluding: "One thing they did give me was a headache."
Speaking about the Hills pair having called him fake, he said he had received a lot of X Factor press about "putting on an act", and had wanted to show that people had got him "totally wrong". "Don't even call me fake," he insisted.
Rylan went on to explain that he was really "glad [about his victory] for... [his] mother's sake", as she had gone "through hell" while he was on The X Factor.
He later received a call from his mother, saying to her: "Can you believe it?"
"I can believe it, 'cause you've been yourself," she replied, adding that she was "dead proud" of him.
Elsewhere in the interview, Rylan said of Claire Richards: "She is everything I wanted her to be and more. I can't wait to meet her kids, meet Reece her husband... and I'll get to meet H from Steps as well."
Asked to sum up his experience, he answered: "No words."
