"It has been a blast"
Celebrity Big Brother has aired the third eviction of the series, as another housemate packed their bags.
Last night, Patsy Palmer and Daley Thompson both received the most nominations, putting them at risk of leaving the house. In tonight's episode, it was revealed that the public had voted to evict former decathlete Daley.
Following the announcement, Daley assured his fellow housemates that "it has been a blast", giving them all a hug as he said goodbye.
Upon his exit, Daley praised the crowd for their warm reception, saying: "I would've liked to have stayed longer but I was quite happy to come out. Whatever way, because no matter what goes on in there, it's you lot out here."
Speaking about the other celebrities, he added: "I didn't have high hopes for them in there but they have been funny, they have been just revealing. They are great people."
Elsewhere in the episode, the celebrities were transformed into pet cats for the latest shopping challenge.
"Collectively you begin the day with nine lives. Throughout the day you will all face feline tasks," explained Big Brother. "Fail a task and you'll lose one of your precious lives. To pass and win the reward, you must finish with at least one life remaining."
The tasks saw Patsy chasing a laser around the house, Chris Hughes wearing a giant "cone of shame", Ella Rae Wise delivering catty comments to the housemates, and Angellica Bell stealing all the milk with the help of Jack P Shepherd.
Meanwhile, Danny Beard took it upon himself to assign a task to Donna Preston, telling her Big Brother had instructed her to stay on all fours.
Having attempted the challenge, Donna eventually realised it was a prank, with Danny finally admitted the truth. "Oh Donna, your commitment was impeccable and I really love you," he praised.
