Dancing On Ice has revealed the winners of this year's competition after Springwatch presenter Michaela Strachan, former footballer Anton Ferdinand and Coronation Street's Sam Aston went head to head (to head) for the crown.

In tonight's final, the three remaining celebrities took to the ice to perform their very last routines. After a tense showdown between the stars, it was Sam and professional partner Molly Lanaghan who emerged victorious, becoming the 2025 champions.

Michaela and Mark Hanretty placed second, while Anton and Annette Dytrt finished their Dancing on Ice journey in third place. Winner Sam was overcome with emotion which left him speechless in his victory.

The show kicked off with a stunning performance from the professional skaters before the vote was officially opened for the night. The celebrities then performed their Showcase routines, which were choreographed by Head Judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

First up was Anton who channeled his inner superstar with Annette, dancing to 'Let's Go Crazy' by Prince and the Revolution. The performance earned him yet another perfect score of 40, with judge Christopher even getting out of his chair to give Anton a hug.

In a Pink Panther-inspired routine, Sam took on the role of Inspector Clouseau, skating to the iconic theme tune by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His "smooth" skate with Molly resulted in his first-ever full house score, as well as praise for perfectly embodying the character.

Michaela and Mark took the judges' breath away, performing to Barbra Streisand's 'Don't Rain on My Parade'. Michaela's "leading lady" dance earned her the third maximum 40 score of the night.

With a level scoreboard, it was then over to the public whose votes landed Anton in third place. Describing the experience as "up and down", Anton thanked Annette, telling her: "I've thoroughly enjoyed this journey with you."

Annette added: "I just want to say thank you for everything, It was a really beautiful journey for me. You've worked so hard and I'm so proud of you and you can be proud of yourself."

After that, it was Sam and Michaela who were able to perform Torvill and Dean's iconic Bolero routine with their respective partners, before Sam and Molly ultimately lifted the Dancing on Ice trophy.

Reflecting on her "amazing journey", Michaela said: "I feel that I'm a winner to get this far with Mark. It's been fantastic!"

Elsewhere in the episode, viewers were treated to the final-ever performance from skating duo Torvill and Dean. Speaking about their "one last dance", Christopher said: "It is very emotional for us. It's been a fantastic ride. We've been here 17 series, something like over 80 performances, but last one tonight."
