Lord Sugar fires another 'Apprentice'

Alex Epstein has become the sixth fired Apprentice candidate after a disastrous advertising task.



Multi-millionaire Lord Alan Sugar challenged the business hopefuls to create, brand and come up with a radio and TV ad campaign for a new cleaning product on this week's show. Leading Team Apollo, Epstein was blamed for the group's Germ-O-Nator concept and dodgy TV promo.

Christopher Farrell's Team Synergy won the task for their Octoklean brand, but Sugar warned the winners that they only just snuck through by the skin of their teeth. "Put it this way, I wouldn't say you'd won… it is just technically you haven't lost," he said.

Epstein immediately ran into trouble with Sugar, challenging the business leader's decision to award the victory to the other team. "I'm not consulting you over the reason that they have won, do you understand? I'm here to talk about why you lost," bellowed Sugar.
