It's been a fiery season to say the least!



As the live final of I'm a Celebrity... South Africa took place this evening, fans couldn't help but notice the simmering tension that was present in the background as some contestants were ready to speak their truths.

The conclusion to the second season of the ITV reality series took place across two parts tonight, with Adam Thomas beating Mo Farah, Harry Redknapp and Craig Charles to the top honour.

The first part of the final saw the remaining quartet take part in the last trial, which was the ultimate test of their resilience. Naturally, it wasn't quite as simple as it sounded, with each star getting a personalised distraction.

The audience, meanwhile, watched each trial live from London's Versa Studios, where the finalists were reunited with eliminated contestants, some of whom seemed keen to settle a score.

In the crowd were Jimmy Bullard and David Haye, with Gemma Collins conveniently sitting between them. Just as Adam's trial was broadcast, David quickly made himself heard when he questioned Adam on whether he thinks he was deserving of victory.

"After calling Jimmy the C-word a couple of times, do you think you deserve this?" David shouted, before accusing production of deliberately leaving parts out of Adam's recorded fight with Jimmy.

Hosts Ant and Dec jumped in to stop tempers flaring, with the latter promising that they would address the situation in the second part of the final - but the live audience was in a frenzy as a cacophony of boos and cheers could be heard simultaneously.

Opinions were just as mixed on social media - while some viewers were amused by the tense exchange, others declared that they were more convinced than ever to vote for Adam in the final.

"I'd love to see David and Jimmy's face if Adam wins,” one of them penned on X, while a second echoed this sentiment as they quipped: "I wouldn't be mad if Adam boxed David and Jimmy off camera."

Still, some viewers applauded David, with one writing: "Everyone is talking about this show because of David Haye it's been the best I'm a Celeb series for a long time! Absolute drama!"

The spat intensified in the second part of the final as Jimmy was questioned over his reasons for leaving the series. After making some accusations against the production team, Ant argued back, while co-star Sinitta stormed off.
