John Adeleye: 'Mary Byrne could crack'

John Adeleye has claimed that he is worried about the pressure that X Factor hopeful Mary Byrne is under.



Adeleye, who was voted off the live shows in the third week, said that the 50-year-old is finding being in the competition difficult.

He explained to Now: "Mary has shown signs of cracking under the pressure. She's got arthritis in both knees and is struggling with the long hours."

The 30-year-old added that he gave Byrne support before he was eliminated.

He said: "I tried to keep her strong, but now I'm gone, she needs to try to keep it together."
