And Daisy Lowe AGAIN found herself in the bottom two
Halloween Week proved a nightmare for Anastacia and Brendan Cole as they became the sixth couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing.
The two faced off against Daisy Lowe and Aljaž Škorjanec in the dreaded dance off, after the judges' scores were combined with the results of the viewers' vote. It marked Anastacia's third time in the dance off and Daisy's second week in a row.
Anastacia and Brendan performed their jive to Meat Loaf's 'Bat Out of Hell' again, while Daisy and Aljaž did their paso doble to 'Please Don't Let Me Be Be Misunderstood' by Santa Esmeralda.
On Saturday's (October 29) frightful show, Daisy and Aljaž scored 33 points to Anastacia and Brendan's 25, so it came as no surprise that the judges voted unanimously to save Daisy and Aljaž.
Following her exit, Anastacia was full of praise for the show, her "amazing" partner Brendan and even the judges. "This was a place for me to get to know my 'female' and this place allowed me to do that," she explained.
"This programme will miss you. I will miss you. Thank you for teaching me so much about everything and for being a fantastic partner," Brendan enthused.
Last week, it was revealed that Ofcom wouldn't be investigating the dance off drama earlier in the series that saw Anastacia end in the bottom two, but unable to dance again because of an injury.
As a result, the show reverted to the public vote and Melvin Odoom went home, which prompted outrage from viewers and the classic 'fix' claims.
Tonight's results show also saw a performance from Laura Mvula singing 'Ready or Not'.
Strictly Come Dancing continues next weekend on Saturday (November 5) at 6.55pm and Sunday (November 6) at 7.15pm on BBC One.
